I know with proper planning and with the experts that you have around you, you can do this, however after reading about Cape Horn from those that did it and how quickly things can change down there, I am not totally convinced that you have enough physical strength to quickly cope when confronted with high seas and changing winds, that is the only reservation that I have. Mike was under his boat on what was expected to be an eventless day 3 days ago. The 60% of people that don’t want you to go(not me), know nothing about you. I want you to succeed, more than your parents do, if that’s possible. I see your challenge as do-able, it’s being properly planned and you have no excuse to fail, just make sure that those guiding you believe you are strong enough, if they do, I will feel more comfortable about following your progress after you depart.

Hi Jessica, I saw the article about you in The Australian magazine, and then on the 7.30 report. Really admire your courage, enthusiasm and determination. I'm sure you'll succeed, and I look forward to following your adventure! It's great to see a girl doing something like this. Very inspirational.

Hi Jessica,
Every time I turn on the TV, you are plastered all over it. It seems you are developing a cult following and it's just started, everyone knows who you are. Does your training include watching Saturday night TV to prepare you for the days of mind numbing boredom that you will experience for a lot of the journey?
Take care,
