We are getting a taste of the southern ocean

Seas to 3 metres 18 to 25 knots of South East winds.
We are on a heading of 80 degrees.
It's not too uncomfortable but very wet because we are right into it.
Last night we had one of the casseroles was lovely.
We still have heaps of birds around, they are good company for being on watch.
Still not getting texts out but is great to hear from everyone.
It is still very cold, I can imagine now, what the Southern Ocean feels like.
